New Whatsapp Feature Will Let You “Unsend” The Messages You Wish You Never Sent

WhatsApp has incorporated a pair of new features designed to inspire you to share more pictures through it. The messaging app now offers a collection of filters, which you can use to edit your photographs, videos and even GIFs, before sharing them.

One of the most annoying features of WhatsApp is that, when someone posts a sequence of photos, each image displays independently, taking up your entire chat window and forcing you to scroll all up and down to read the previous message.

An updated version of WhatsApp has been released for iOS that offers a neat solution to this problem.

Have you ever sent something over WhatsApp in a disagreement and immediately regretted it? WhatsApp may soon be unveiling a new feature which will allow you to recall/unsend that message.

With the new update you will be given up to five minutes to think over your actions.

New WhatsApp feature will let you recall the messages you wish you had not sent. As well as messages, the recall will work on images, videos, GIFS, documents, quoted texts and even Status replies.

But messages send for more than five minutes ago, however, is awkwardly there to stay.

According to WABetaInfo, the app will enable Recall in version ‘2.17.30+’.

The updates don’t end there. WhatsApp has also introduced a selection of filters, so you can adjust the colour and tone of your photos, videos and GIFs without leaving the app.

As of this writing there are five filters – Pop, B&W, Cool, Chrome and Film – and they can be accessed by swiping up on the photo you have chosen to share.

Finally, WhatsApp has also added a new reply shortcut, which lets you simply swipe right in any message to quickly reply to it.

Version 2.17.30 has just hit the App Stores and very soon users will be able to use the new features.

Proud Zimbabwean Citizen, loving everything Tech related.
