The nationwide initiative reflects NetOne’s enduring commitment to complementing Government’s environmental conservation efforts while fostering cleaner, healthier and more sustainable communities across Zimbabwe. The campaign forms part of the National Clean-Up Programme initiated by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Cde Dr.Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, who proclaimed the first Friday of every month as National Clean-Up Day. NetOne regional teams partnered with local authorities, the Environmental Management Agency (EMA), community-based organisations, residents’ associations and other stakeholders to undertake clean-up activities and raise awareness on proper waste management, environmental conservation and community ownership.

Through these partnerships, the Company continues to strengthen grassroots participation in sustainable development while fostering shared responsibility for environmental protection.
