Zimbabwe’s Flipcash Makes PayPal and Crypto Withdrawals Fast And Easy

For years, Zimbabweans have faced difficulties withdrawing money from PayPal due to limited banking integrations. Many could only use PayPal for sending money out, but not for bringing money in. Now, Flipcash, a Harare-based financial technology company, has stepped in to fill the gap. The company offers PayPal withdrawals into local cash, EcoCash, InnBucks or Omari, making access to funds simple, fast and reliable.

Instant PayPal Withdrawals Made Simple

According to Flipcash, customers begin by transferring their PayPal balance into Flipcash’s official account. Once received, Flipcash disburses the equivalent in a local payout method of the customer’s choice.

The company explained  that “For mobile money transfers such as EcoCash, InnBucks, or Omari, funds are typically disbursed within minutes. Cash pickups are usually available on the same day, while bank transfers take one to two business days.”

This model has become attractive for freelancers, students and small businesses in Zimbabwe who are paid through international platforms that only use PayPal. Previously, accessing such money required expensive third-party middlemen or long delays with cross-border banking.

Flipcash applies a flat 5% fee across all its services. This is significantly lower than the 7%–10% often charged by informal dealers operating outside regulated systems.

Using Flipcash For International Payments

The service is not limited to withdrawals. Flipcash also allows customers to send PayPal funds abroad. By depositing local money — whether in cash, EcoCash, InnBucks or Omari — Zimbabweans can make tuition payments, pay for online shopping, or send support to family overseas.

Flipcash added that “You provide the equivalent in cash, EcoCash, InnBucks or Omari. We then securely send the specified PayPal funds to your chosen recipient or online merchant.”

This option has become popular with parents paying international school fees and businesses sourcing goods from global suppliers. It avoids the frustration of blocked payments or costly remittance charges.

Cryptocurrency Services For Zimbabweans

Alongside PayPal, Flipcash has built a strong presence in cryptocurrency transactions. The platform supports common digital currencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Tether (USDT), and Ethereum (ETH).

The company confirmed thats “We provide a secure way to buy and sell cryptocurrencies in Zimbabwe. Transactions are processed with confidentiality and handled through official channels only.”

Transactions are carried out over-the-counter (OTC), rather than through complex international exchanges, giving local users a more accessible and simplified experience.

Flipcash operates from 5 Londonderry Avenue in Eastlea, Harare. The office is open Monday to Saturday, from 8 am to 5 pm. It is closed on Sundays.

Digital payment systems like PayPal and cryptocurrency offer Zimbabweans new avenues to participate in global commerce. However, limitations in withdrawal, regulation, and infrastructure still pose challenges. With proper awareness, Zimbabweans can navigate these tools effectively, promoting greater financial inclusion and resilience in a rapidly digitalising economy.
