Thousands Report Issues with Facebook and Instagram

Many users are currently experiencing problems accessing Facebook and Instagram. Reports indicate that botho platforms are down, with users encountering “failure to load” error messages.

According to DownDetector, a website that tracks online outages, over 352,000 Facebook outages were reported at 10:49 AM. Instagram is also affected, with a significant number of users experiencing issues. The problems appear to be impacting both the Facebook and Instagram apps and websites.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has not yet commented on the outage. The cause of the problem is unknown at this time.
