MultiChoice Zimbabwe hosted a launch party for the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament at The Venue in Avondale, using the event to highlight SuperSport’s exclusive live coverage of the entire event for subscribers.
Liz Dziva, Publicity & Publicity Relations Manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said the launch was hosted by broadcaster, theatre personality, and blogger, Larry Kwirirayi who led a range of discussions and activities, while the event was held in partnership with KIA Global, an official FIFA World Cup partner.
“There was huge excitement as the opening of the tournament started and we were able to get ourselves in the right mood for what is one of the most anticipated and popular sporting spectacle for the whole world to enjoy” she said. A special guest at the event was Dynamos captain, Patson Jaure who joined other guests in the fun Keepie Uppie challenge, winners of which included Tsitsi Ndabambi, winner of a DStv Explora decoder and a free installation from accredited agent, Vision Sat.
Vision Sat also had a display at the launch and guests were able to open DStv accounts and get connected immediately to enjoy the tournament which runs until December 18.
“At the event, it was announced that subscribers can now pay their DStv subscriptions through the popular Mukuru platform which has more than 200 branches and booths across Zimbabwe” said Ms Dziva
