Alstralz Technologies Limited, a Zambian company that has been in operation for 3 years has finalized a partnership that will see it be the first local company to enable its customers to get a comprehensive view of construction sites and track progress update with advanced collaboration, communication, and analysis features. The platform, developed by SkyVue Solutions of US, also allows Telecoms operators to automate cell towers inspection and asset management with intelligent digital twins by use of drones to capture images and process into 3D models.
Speaking at the launch in Lusaka, the two companies’ CEOs were keen to share the use cases and demonstrate how this product will enhance service delivery.
Mr Mwizukanji Sikanyika, Alstralz CEO said, “Our vision is to work smart, keep processes simplified, reduce risk of accident by less use of human resource for work at heights. This technology will enable us deliver extended visibility to our customers for infrastructure roll-out such as those on towers. For the customers in construction, they will now be able to view progress of their buildings without going to site. If this is achieved, as proven by our demonstrations, it means even sign-off and verification processes will now be streamlined”.
During the same signing ceremony, both CEOs shared that the local company has already recruited local AUS pilots who are undergoing training to use the technology.
Mr Raoul Fossi, further commented “Our journey starts from Cameroon where we founded our startup to deliver solutions close to home. We dream of a technology-driven continent and today we are in Zambia to extend our dream. Recently, we were selected as one of the top 5 African startups by Africa Digital Innovation Competition. Our association with Alstralz is to share common values to foster Artificial Intelligence solutions”.
