Zupco To Hikes Fares By 100%

THE Zimbabwe United Passenger Company (Zupco) will on 1st june hikes its  commuter fares from ZW 100 to ZW$220 for buses and ZW$100 for commuter omnibuses which were charging ZW$80.

In a statement on Friday, Zupco announced that passengers, who use their buses and kombis will now pay $220 from $100 for distances of up to 20km, while those travelling distances of 21km to 30km will pay $260.
