Council Has Partnered Ecocash To Send Bills Via The SMS

Now, you don’t have to make rounds of the municipal office to find out about your bills or to make payments towards the dues.

Notably, there has been a surge in online collections this year, prompting the ccouncil to offer more online platforms for taxpayers to make payments in a hassle free manner.
According to the social media post sent by City Of Harare:

Harare City Council has engaged debt collectors to recover more than $8 billion owed by ratepayers, some of which is owed by “difficult” customers.
In a notice on its social media platforms, Harare City said the debt was chocking its operations and affecting service delivery.
