NetOne Board Member Resigns

One of the three remaining original board members Mr. Winston Makamure has tendered his resignation letter as NetOne board member.

According to a local publication, one of the last 3 original board members has called it quits citing serious infighting with original board members and possible conflict of interest charges.

Most of the original board members whom were appointed by the then min of ICT, hon Kazembe Kazembe have been fired or have resigned.

In April, two board members, Paradzai Chakona and Dr. Douglas Mamvura were reportedly sacked from the NetOne board as the internal fissures within the board continue to widen.

However, a number of silent appointments of board members have been made including the ministry of ICT director Beaullah Chirume, to fill in the gaps left by the departures of the board members.
