Police Warns The Public On Posting Sensitive Recordings

Zimbabwe Republic Police has warned the public from posting images and videos from accident scenes saying some recordings are alarming and may cause shock to other people.

According to the press statement from the Zimbabwe Republic Police dated 7 January 2020, the police urged members of the public to be considerate and refrain from posting recordings from accidents scenes saying it is not a proper way to pass information especially to friends or relatives of the person involved in the accident.

Social media especially whatsapp and facebook  has made everyone to become a citizen journalist as everyone can just post anything and there are no restrictions.
