You Can Still Apply To Be A Nurse Via E-Recruitment

The ministry of health and child care has extended nurses e-recruitment time limit to december 8 after the portal had difficulty last week as the payment portal was down.

The deadline, which was originally set for november 30 has been extended after it was noted that network glitches left thousands of prospective applicants stranded and in panic mode.

The public relations officer in the ministry of health and child care mr donald mujiri said “we have extended the deadline to 8 december and prospective applicants can visit our website for more information on the application process,”

The application fee is $10 and is payable via ecocash.

“applications must be submitted not later than 8 december 2019 using the following mohcc electronic platform; www.mohcc.gov.zw and click on the e-nurse link which will take you to the registration page,” said the ministry in a statement.

“successful candidates will be informed via the mohcc electronic platform and are required to have a satisfactory medical examination conducted by a government medical officer.” He added

Since may 2019, applicants for nurse training at government hospitals must have passed the required minimum of five o’ level passes in one sitting including mathsincluding mathematics, english and a science subject and any other two subjects, excluding fashion and fabrics, metal work, woodwork and technical graphics, and must be below the age of 30.
