The Ministry of Primary and Secondary has opened online applications for 2019 Form One boarding places from Monday, November 5, 2018, to December 21, 2018. Parents can now start applying online for their children. According to the ministry there are 262 boarding schools with a total capacity of 24 320 students.
Form 1 applications will be able to do so through the EMAP platform. By following the below instructions.
- Create an Account First
- Go to www.emap.co.zw
- Sign up on the link that is at the bottom that says If you do have an account Sign Up Here.
- Enter the centre and candidate number as well as the date of birth using the pupils’ result slip.
- You will be redirected to a section that says Please confirm if you have been cleared by your former school and select Yes
- Click Next
- Fill in the details required in this section, that is your mobile number and password of your choice.
An applicant can only apply at five schools and once offered a place in one of the schools, they will not be considered at the other schools.
The Electronic Ministry’s Application Platform was launched in 2016.
Successful applicants would get short message service (SMS) by the respective head and details about individual school enrolment patterns, school and levies area available on the platform.
